An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the busy Financial Department in a full time permanent position as an accounts payable finance assistant.
The ideal candidate has experience of using financial systems to process large volumes of invoices on a daily basis in a busy accounting environment, and has excellent communication and organisational skills. We are looking for a team player who is enthusiastic, able to prioritise their workload and work flexibly to meet tight deadlines.
The post holder will assist the team to ensure that high quality delivery of financial services are maintained, in accordance with relevant professional and audit standards. The successful candidate will work as a member of the team responsible for the matching of purchase orders against invoices, gaining authorisation from relevant managers, and payment of invoices. In addition to this they will manage queries from both internal and external stakeholders and provide holiday and sickness cover for Supplies.

The hours of work will be 37.5 hours over 5 working days, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm excluding weekends and bank holidays.
