Integrated Assessment Team Rehabilitation Assistant
Band: 3
Salary: £16,968 – £ 19,852 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Gloucester Royal Hospital/ Cheltenham General Hospital
Contract: Permanent
Current Service Hours: Mon – Fri 08.00 – 16.00 or Mon – Fri 10.00 – 18.00.
W/E & B/H 0900 – 1700pm. The successful candidate will be required to work one weekend a month.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a rehab assistant to join the Integrated Assessment Team (IAT) based at GRH and/or CGH.
Integrated Assessment Team (IAT)
The IAT consists of a multi – disciplinary team who provide a timely assessment of patients discharge pathway who have presented to the ‘front door‘ of the acute hospitals.
This includes the emergency department and acute units.
The post holder will require a wide range of experience in rehabilitation / support work ideally in an acute based setting and/or the community.
The post holder will support clinicians with joint assessments delivering very short therapy treatment and undertaking administrative duties. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a practical and common sense approach to their work, be well organised and have good communication skills.
This is an exciting time working within the IAT as developments within Gloucestershire Care Services, Urgent Care provides scope for modelling new and innovative ways of working.
IAT offers an induction program and robust supervision.
