A unique opportunity has arisen with a global Feed Additives Business to promote and sell the company and its products to both non-veterinary and veterinary customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of animal nutrition preferably in the pig and poultry sector. Ruminant knowledge, in addition, would be ideal. You will already have some knowledge of the key players and be able to network these contacts to build strong relationships quickly. Planning is key and you should have flexibility to travel extensively as the position commands. This position covers both the UK and Ireland Feed Additive markets.
Your major accountabilities include; achieving set sales targets, ensuring good management of sales and marketing budgets, supplying accurate forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, ensuring customer satisfaction and providing customer feedback and administrative tasks associated with the role.
Ideally the successful candidate will have a veterinary degree or agricultural science/ nutritional qualification. If you are not a NOAH Marketing Authorisation Holder this would be a requirement within 6 months to achieve this. Previous experience within Agriculture is preferred and so too is a level of intensive livestock experience.
