We are looking for focused individuals who are interested in being part of our busy Customer Services Team. You will need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to use your own initiative, the desire and motivation to make a difference to our customers and the stamina to work in an ever-changing and constantly busy environment.
You will work at Castle House, Newark or the outreach centres at Ollerton and Southwell, dealing with a wide range of customer enquiries. This includes dealing with face to face enquiries and answering enquiries in our contact centre. You need to have a flexible approach with the ability to prioritise your work and react to a changing workload. The type of enquires we deal with are very varied – one minute you may be dealing with a waste enquiry then the next minute providing advice relating to planning or homelessness.
Excellent communication, keyboard and numeracy skills are required. In addition experience of working in an appropriate customer orientated environment is essential as well as working on a variety of ICT systems to record, monitor and extract customer service information.
You will have the ability to prioritise workloads and meet targets, experience of working with on-line computer systems and educated to GCSE Grade C, or equivalent, in English and Mathematics. You must also have the ability to travel to the outreach stations within the district.
