As the local Interface for the Third Sector, PKAVS supports the development of a vibrant, sustainable and connected Third Sector and leads on the development of Volunteering across communities. With direct services in the core areas of Carers, Mental Wellbeing and Minority Communities, PKAVS is also a leading direct service provider, supporting individuals of all ages to overcome barriers in their lives and achieve their goals.
PKAVS is one of the largest local Third Sector employers in Perth & Kinross, with a team of 150 staff and volunteers who play vital roles delivering services, fundraising and in governance as the Board of Directors.
As a Community Planning Partner, PKAVS is committed to achieving the Local Outcomes within the Perth & Kinross Single Outcome Agreement/Community Plan and continuing to enhance the Third Sector’s significant contribution to securing better outcomes for individuals, families and our communities.
PKAVS Minority Communities Hub has been supporting ethnic minority communities in Perth & Kinross since 2010. Perth & Kinross has one of the largest ethnic minority populations in Scotland. MCH has developed a reputation for leading the way in supporting minority communities.
Role
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic full-time Data analyst and reporting officer with excellent system set up, data management, analysis, and reporting skills to join the Minority Communities Hub within PKAVS.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, design, and implement a new Client Database.
• Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques.
• Review and refine Hub’s monitoring and reporting tools in line with funder’s requirements.
• Develop new internal and external outcome reporting templates for PKAVS, External Stakeholders, Partner Organisations and Funders.
• Co-ordination of all monitoring and reporting requirements.
• Produce regular outcome reports for the MCH Manager, the PKAVS CEO and Board, External Stakeholders, Partner Organisations, and Funders.
• Evaluate project outcomes and performance for reporting and future Programme development.
• Support the development and management of MCH new Website and social media platforms.
• Collating and compiling articles, case studies and other best practice examples to demonstrate output achievements to External Stakeholders, Partner Organisations, and Funders.
• Share good news stories, and case studies via Hub’s Website and social media platforms internal and external.
• Co-ordinate qualitative and quantitative research requirements for both internal and external audiences with the MCH Manager.
• Support the MCH Manager to write and produce funding applications.
• Participate in training events as agreed with line manager and share with other staff and volunteers any new skills and knowledge.
• To support the development and delivery of the Annual Work Programme as part of the MCH Team.
