Band 5 £22,128 – £28,746 pro rata
37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Security Management Team within Estates & Facilities Directorate. You would be responsible for facilitating and delivering a range of Security Management Training Programmes for Multi-Professional and Multi-Disciplinary staff across all the ULH Sites.
This is in accordance with National and Organisational Initiatives that requires local implementation. The outcome being to ensure compliance with: – NHS Protect and other governing bodies, such as Health & Safety Executive and Care Quality Commission.
This post is a vital support for the Security Management Team and supports the wider security agenda. The main role of this post is the running and delivery of the mandatory Security Management Training programme, known as Conflict Resolution Training (CRT) to all frontline staff across ULT. In additional to CRT other Security Management Training packages will form part of your role.
You would also act as an advocate for best practice and policy and ensure that within your individual practice and with others, Security Management Services protocols are followed.
You must hold either a Teaching Qualification or have equivalent experience in teaching staff groups within the NHS. It is essential that you have experience of managing and delivery training packages to a broad range of training groups. And have knowledge of a range of Violence & Aggression Training programmes; including CRT.
It is a trust wide requirement that the post-holder must drive from site to site and hold a full driving licence.
Have experience of using Microsoft packages; hold either the Electronic Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) qualification or equivalent qualification or have experience working with computers. You must have a high standard of verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to liaise with stakeholders in a highly focused customer service manner and be an effective team player.
