Vacancies have arisen within the operational team of the Estate Maintenance department for mechanical fitters/plumbers interested in a career in healthcare facilities maintenance. If you are a dynamic, experienced individual that wants to work for an organisation that makes a real difference to people’s lives, then this role is for you.
You will be joining a team of multi-disciplined trades staff delivering planned preventative & reactive maintenance in an acute hospital environment, 24/7/365.
You will be expected to work with a wide range of staff from varying disciplines, including health care professionals, to deliver a maintenance service that supports a high standard of patient care across the Trust.
You will be experienced in various aspects of mechanical building services maintenance, well organised & enthusiastic, capable of working individually or within a team and with good communication skills.
You will be expected to drive Trust owned vehicles and take part in the out-of-hours emergency on-call provision.
