VP M&SS Full Time

The VP, Medical and Scientific Services (Oxford,Macclesfield), reporting into the SVP (Managing Director), will lead and direct a M&SS unit to the creation of strategic medical education and communications programmes. You will lead, facilitate, co-ordinate and maintain the quality of the delivery of editorial work within the unit, proactively contribute to the growth strategy of the unit, and support the editorial team in their professional development. You will manage client relationships in conjunction with the VP, Client Services, and work collaboratively as part of the Senior Management Team to deliver operational efficiency, financial control and forward business planning.

You shall communicate internally and externally in a calm,dependable and professional tone and in a manner that is adherent to appropriate compliance guidelines. A science degree is essential and a higher science degree is desirable; you will have at least three years of medical writing experience at Senior Medical Writer level with demonstrable success, plus management, supervisory or training experience.
