As an Editorial Assistant you will be anintegral part of our Medical and Scientific Services Team, implementing ourclients’ medical education programmes. Duties will include proof reading,styling and copy-editing of a wide variety of medical education deliverables producedby our Medical Writers as well as tracking project progress and providingupdates as necessary. You will liaise closely with external contacts in orderto settle queries, obtain approvals and ensure that we deliver a high qualityof service to healthcare professionals so that they can deliver the bestquality of patient care. Whois the ideal candidate?
As you will be editing and proof reading others’ work, highlevels of attention to detail and excellent word processing skills are a must.We’re looking for someone who can work well within part of an established teamas well as the ability to perform under their own initiative and the ability toprioritise a varied workload. A scientific background or keen interest in thesciences would certainly be advantageous, as would previous experience of publishingor time in a Medical Communications agency environment.
