CSH Surrey is an NHS community provider and part of the NHS family.
But we’re not your usual NHS employer!
That’s because CSH is actually a co-owned organisation . This means that our 1600 staff, although still on NHS Agenda for Change, Terms & Conditions and members of the NHS pension scheme, actually ‘own’ CSH.
So what difference does this make? Because our nurses, therapists and support staff own CSH Surrey, they have a real say in how our services are run. They are also given the freedom and personal responsibility to change and improve their services.
This has created a greater sense of pride, commitment and motivation among our staff, which means better quality and more innovative care for our patients and families.
Being employee-owned has also helped us to genuinely put patient and client care at the heart of what we do – because when you own something, you really do care more passionately about it! We believe our FFT results are testament to the high quality of care we provide, with our services regularly achieving 90-100%.
CSH Surrey is also a not-for-profit social enterprise . This means we combine the best of both worlds – the social ethos of the NHS with the independence, innovation, drive and ‘can do’ attitude of a business. Importantly to our staff, we reinvest any surplus back into services and to support communities through our Community Fund.
So, if you’re looking for a different type of NHS employer that really does put patient/client care first, and you want to work alongside motivated, passionate and ‘can do’ colleagues who have a real say in how their services are run, come and work for CSH!
