Location: The job is office based at Holmes Road. Travel to King’s Cross offices, the Crowndale Centre and other sites may be required. Camden promotes and supports agile working and there will be opportunities to work from home.

Contract Type: Fixed term for 12 months (with a possibly of post becoming permanent). 36 hours per week

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Contact Camden providing key front line services as a Customer Service Officer. You will be expected to provide high quality customer care using a variety of access channels and deliver our services effectively. We are looking for someone who has strong customer care skills and be motivated to deliver for the people of Camden.
The successful candidates will join our Housing Repairs and out of hours telephone service. These roles will need staff to work on Saturdays and Sundays and 12.00 to 20.00 on three weekdays with two consecutive weekdays off. Please indicate in your application that you can work the hours and days as above and/or you have any relevant housing repairs experience.
About you
The successful candidate will be experienced and able to resolve front line customer service enquiries to a high standard. This will be across a wide range of access channels, such as telephony, face-to-face, tweets, web chat, email and in writing.
You will be able to move across services and channels to respond proactively to changes in customer demand.
You will demonstrate the ability to make high quality decisions on the frontline to ensure that enquires are resolved at the first point of contact, taking personal responsibility for making appropriate decisions for our customers with minimal supervision.
You will be able to contribute to service improvements through ideas and participating in projects as required.
You will also need to be able to support customers facing crisis whilst liaising with other services to ensure wherever possible that we meet the needs of our residents.
