My client is looking for a talented Front-End Web Developer to join their team to help them with all elements of front-end development from initial planning and design, through to UX and production of HTML/CSS templates.

Working alongside a brilliant team of PHP Web Developers, you will take the lead in all things front-end. As well as designing outstanding visuals for websites, you will be coding up your designs into mobile-responsive web pages, using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and using frameworks like Foundation and Bootstrap. You’ll be familiar with SASS and source control software such as GIT and you’ll know just what to do to get your websites working correctly across a wide range of browsers and platforms. You’ll be comfortable working with and customising JavaScript frameworks, integrating with MVC PHP web applications and optimising for page speed, accessibility and SEO.

Skills Required: Expert knowledge of using latest techniques to code usable cross-browser and cross-platform websites Daily experience of making magic with HMTL, CSS, jQuery etc Excellent knowledge of using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Illustrator etc to produce visuals with flair A good knowledge of current web development trends, techniques and best practices A good understanding of user experience and wireframe design Speed, accuracy and excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to use your initiative and work well under pressure to achieve tight deadlines A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team A positive outlook and good sense of humour
