Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of specialist mental health, drug and alcohol and learning disability services in southern England, working in partnership with the Surrey and Hampshire County Councils to offer integrated health and social care.
We are looking to appoint an experienced Band 5 Finance Officer to the post of Finance Officer Control and Clients Assets. This post is crucial in delivering a comprehensive and effective financial service to those individuals who use our services and whose financial affairs the Trust looks after.
To succeed, you will be Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) fully qualified; or Consultative Committee Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants ( CIMA) – part qualified; or qualified by 3 years’ relevant experience in financial accounting. You will have experience of dealing with benefit agencies and managing bank accounts. You will possess excellent people management skills and understand the importance of building mutually supportive relationships within the finance team and with external stakeholders, including the managers within our residential homes, the DWP, councils funding placements; and relatives of those who use our services.
Interviews will be held w/c 18 or 25 June in Leatherhead.
