THE ROLE: As a National Accounts Business Development Manager you will be responsible for selling various security and safety products into a wide range of markets such as Education, Finance, Banking, Healthcare, Hotels, Retail and Airports. Your Points of contact will include Procurement, Risk Management, Health & Safety and Directors. The role of National Accounts Business Development Manager is split between account management and new business development, with leads coming from internal sources and your colleagues on different divisions. You will be dealing with projects ranging in value from £10K to £100K+ so you must be able to demonstrate that you have previously been involved in solution selling.
THE PERSON: To be successful in the role of National Accounts Business Development Manager you will have experience in a business to business field-based sales role. You will have experience selling security or safety products, you must be able to close business deals at high levels and be able to demonstrate this at interview stage. This paired with a driven, proactive, career motivated personality will see you excel in this position.
